In part two of our home based business information series, we are going to examine Knowing Your Market. Any legitimate work at home business or any business in general for that matter, you must understand what market your trying to target. Clearly identify who it is your trying to attract so you can narrow the initial amount of competition.
Note: any web business ideas you have for marketing should have some type of competition. The less the better of course, the key point you must determine is that people are searching for products/services and “paying” for them.
A legitimate work at home business plan starts with your market. There are differing opinions on whether you should be passionate about your market or completely new to it. Passion will definately bring out a strong desire and interest that will bring out a more immediate bond with your customer.
But, as long as your willing to research and understand your market or customer needs, you will find success. If your not sure what market area to enter, start by researching these sites for your web business ideas.

Find products and services that are in demand and being purchased today. You do not need to invent any super product at this time. All you want to do is find market areas that interest you and have buyers.
